Devon is the fourth lowest funded area of England for education and the gap between the “haves” and the “have nots” continues to widen.
The education of 96,000 children and young people in Devon is affected by the relative low level of funding schools receive from central government.
Devon schools have launched a campaign to persuade government to tackle the inequalities in funding for schools and end the post-code lottery that affects the young people of our county.
