Kennicott Sixth Form - The Next Stage
Most Year 11 students progress into the KEVICC Sixth Form which is called Kennicott after the Victorian mansion which lies at its heart.
Kennicott is amongst the largest and most consistently successful sixth forms in Devon.
We have strong examination results, myriad extracurricular activities and a caring atmosphere combine to make Kennicott a centre of excellence.
Kennicott offers a wide range of courses and we listen very carefully to the students to ensure we can meet their needs.
A parent wrote that she wanted Ofsted to know “how impressed we have been with KEVICC since my daughter joined the sixth form after her time at a local grammar school . . .She has blossomed and has had opportunities and teaching which, I do feel, she would not have had at other schools.”

The International Baccalaureate
KEVICC has begun teaching the International Baccalaureate from September 2009.
The IB prepares students in an international context and helps to promote global awareness as well as high academic standards.
“Sixth form students achieve good results in both the academic and non-academic fields.”

An Arts Foundation Course
KEVICC has successfully introduced an Art Foundation Course and established a ‘working in partnership’ agreement with University College Falmouth.
