Don't worry - there are some things that we can do to sort this problem out.
If you typed the url (web address) yourself, lease check that you've typed the address correctly. The address of our home page is: kingedwardvi.devon.sch.uk.
It may be that we've moved or renamed a page. Your computer will have stored a version of our site which is now out of date. In that case,
- Visit our homepage
- Force your browser to reload the page by holding down the control (Ctrl) key and pressing F5 (on Apple - hold command & press F5). This will force your computer to obtain the new version of the site and should solve the problem
- Use the menus to navigate to the page you need.

If you followed a link from another site or from a bookmark:
Our website is dynamic - that means that its content is frequently changed to keep it fresh. News items and events, for example, are automatically removed when they are no longer current.
Unfortunately, if you've bookmarked (saved a link to) a particular item, and that item is then removed, your link is no longer valid and will bring you to this page.
If this happens to you because you've bookmarked an article on a page that you use often, then you could try bookmarking the relevant section instead, e.g. individual letters home are frequently removed but the url of the Letters Home section is more reliable.
Some other websites may have links to items that have been removed and of course, these are no longer valid. Whilst we have no control over other websites, if you let us know where the offending links is, we will contact the webmaster and ask them to correct their links.
