Our Community FINANCIAL HELP FOR EQUIPMENT OR PROJECT If you need equipment to aid your learning, or financial help towards an educational or community project, the Old Totnesian Society (OTS) may be able to help. OTS has funded various requests in the past, including stage lighting, SEN equipment, a pupil’s overseas trip, a display case, piano stools – a really diverse range of help and support to both the College and to individuals. So, if you think OTS can help, get in touch. Write to the OTS President, Hazel Brand, at hazelbrand@hotmail.com with details of what’s needed and the approximate cost. OTS doesn’t want anything in return – just a short note to explain the difference the grant has made to you or to your project. OTS is a properly-constituted group of former pupils and staff of the three former secondary schools in Totnes (King Edward Vl Grammar School, Totnes High School for Girls, and Redworth Secondary Modern School, which all merged to form King Edward Vl Comprehensive School in 1966 – the first in Devon). You can find out more about OTS via its website (www.oldtotnesians.com ) and Facebook page. OTS welcomes new members from the College to keep it relevant and flourishing. Current members have a wide range of skills and experience. If there’s anyone who would like to talk through a career in any particular sector, get in touch and we can ‘buddy’ you with someone in that sector.
