We have been learning literature in
Spanish and we read a poem called Oso
Marrón. Then we wrote our own based on
it. It was very fun and we enjoyed it a lot!

As part of the New National
Curriculum for Modern Foreign
Languages, our year 7 students have
been working with literary texts in
the target language.
The aim of the lesson was to find strategies to
understand literary texts and to be able to produce their
own by following patterns. I was very well impressed
with the work of my year 7.
I must admit, I have the best year 7 group ever!!!
Thanks guys!!!

me, and I thought I did very well!
There were lots of students interested
in the event but who could not attend.
This is why Anne will be delivering the
session again in the Summer for those
that missed it! Check the daily bulletin!

In my Spanish class I have been taught by the best
Spanish teacher and I am not going to say her name, but
she is amazing at Spanish!
Anyway, we have been reading real Spanish literature and
we have been writing our own book as well!
Callum Daniel – or, in Spanish, 'Me llamo Callum'
Our Spanish
teacher told us
we were going
to the Theatre.
We were curious
about what we
would be doing.
We would
be watching
two Spanish
actors perform
the amazing
Spanish story
of La Ratita
Presumida
(The Vain Little
Mouse).
We were all
extremely
excited as we
did not usually
do these things
and it was a
treat for us.
Before we went
to the theatre
we practised
some Spanish
animals,
phrases and
noises that
were part of
the play. The
animals were
pajaro(bird),
perro (dog),
gato (cat) and
ratito (mouse).
The Spanish
play was
wonderfully
performed
by the actors
Estibaliz & Juan!
A great
afternoon !!
